When you register, we collect your mobile phone number and the display name you provide.

Game data
We store information you create within the app: clubs, sessions, player buyins, chip stacks, expenses, and settlement records.

Usage analytics
We collect anonymised usage events (e.g. sessions started, settlements viewed) to understand how the app is used. This data does not include personally identifiable information beyond a random device identifier.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you via one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone number
To provide and maintain app functionality (clubs, sessions, settlements)
To send OTP messages required for login
To analyse usage patterns and improve the product

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and data, contact us at support.chipin@gmail.com and we will action it within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS) and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

ChipIn is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will delete their data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
